Materials Testing and Integrity for Sustainable Systems and Environment

Inclusion of Diversity in Engineering and Leadership in Sustainability is a NSERC PromoScience initiative that focuses on authentic mentorship through a summer research experience for Grade 11 and 12 students and high school Math and Science teachers.  It evolved from ProGRES: Promoting Girls in Research in Engineering and Sustainability and FIRES: Fostering Indigenous Representation in Engineering and Sustainability, started in 2017 and achieving successful impact year after year.  If you are interested in participating in IDEaLS, ProGRES, or FIRES, or being a partner, sponsor, or mentor in support of these, please contact Dr. Hsiao.
