The MaTISSE research team is looking to add a Post-Doctoral Researcher and four (4) Doctoral students for research in 2024 to 2027. If you have a Bachelors in Materials Science and Engineering or related engineering discipline, with experience in materials characterization, 3D metal printing, rapid solidification techniques, and materials degradation studies (tribology, wear, corrosion), please contact Dr. Hsiao with your resume, transcript, references, and statement of interest. We espouse an interdisciplinary and inclusive approach to research, where diverse skills, talents, and identities are valued. The selected student will develop design and critical thinking skills, apply materials science and sustainable engineering knowledge, and demonstrate a shared focus on excellence, innovation, and careful thinking for impact.
